When I was 36, I moved to Tenerife. Here, I first worked as a tour guide at the airport for a few years, then started a dog hotel with my partner.

I saw a lot of dogs with health problemsand heaps of medication. For example, I noticed tant antibiotic treatments were no longer effective for some dogs, as they had become antibiotic-resistant. For 12 years, we ensured that all of our four-legged friends who stayed with us had a good time and received all the care they needed. It was a great but challenging time.

Then, I felt like it was time for a new chapter. Since homeopathy had always fascinated me, due mainly to positive personal experience, I started looking into the possibility of becoming a homeopath muself. I stumbled upon the Homeopathy Academy Netherlands website, where a 5-year cours on classical homeopathy for humans and animals was being offered. This included basic medical knowledge.

Guiding people and animals towards better health, a better quality of life and balance is even more fascinating than I thought.
