What is classical homeopathy ?

Classical homeopathy is a natural medicine that, unlike homeopathy, looks at the connection between complaints and symptoms.

Since every complaint and every person are different, every treatment should also be individual and unique.

Classical homeopathy is an alternative medicine based on natural laws. The similarity principle establishes an important basis for the type of treatment.

This approach is based on the ideas of Samuel Hahnemann (1755 - 1843), the founder of classical homeopathy. Samuel Hahnemann was the first doctor to categorise diseases. He called it the 'classification of diseases'. The classical homeopath who works according to this method analyses all the symptoms that cause the disease. They are then classified, categorised, into a flower.

Based on the classification in the flower, the classical homeopath can see where the gravity lies, and where the cause of the disease lies. When we address the cause, the consequence also gradually disappears. The consequence is the disease. Thus we gradually, move towards balance, step by step. While addressing this cause, we ensure that our patient has few or no symptoms from the disease.

Causes of the disease may include :

  • hereditary strain

  • vaccines or use of medication

  • major events in one's life, among others

Getting better with homeopathy is a process. Step by step we move together towards balance. Unfortunately, this process will not happen overnight but it will take time. Often the discomfort has been present for some time and the body needs more time to recover. Each person is different and each life force reacts differently.

Homeopathic remedies

Homeopathic remedies are made from plants, minerals or animal products.

There are thousands of remedies in total, each with its own effect.

From the base material, a tincture is first prepared. The tincture is then potentised, shaken, dynamised.

Homeopathic remedies are non-addictive and have no side effects. Therefore, they are ideal during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as suitable for babies and children.

In general, homeopathic remedies can be used very well alongside regular treatments and medicines, and they can even help reduce side effects.

Classical homeopathy considers not only physical but also mental complaints. Classical homeopathy looks at the person as a whole.

It looks at when and how a complaint started and what makes a complaint better or worse.

This is the only possible way to solve complaints.

Similarity

To stimulate the natural self-healing capacity of the individual, a remedy that causes the same disease symptoms in a healthy person is prescribed. This remedy is potentised, diluted.

Not only the remedy plays an important role in similarity but also the sensitivity of the patient.

Personalization

In classical homeopathy, each person is treated individually. The aim is to find the homeopathic remedy that suits best. We take into consideratio nnot only the person's complaint but also the principles of homeopathy, such as similarity and the overall picture.

The symptoms, medical history, and hereditary load are taken into account. The aim is to find the appropriate remedy so that balance can be restored.
